Heartland Group Insurance Agency, Inc. was formed in June of 1998 and the following year acquired Morse Harwell Jiles Insurance (MHJ). MHJ was established in 1935 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and has been servicing Southeast Missouri ever since.
In 2004 Heartland Group Insurance Agency helped form Heartland Insurance LLC in St. Charles, Missouri with agents working throughout the St. Louis metro area. In 2021 Heartland Insurance became a wholly owned division of Heartland Group Insurance Agency Inc.
Together, the Heartland Group of agencies now have Missouri based, affiliated agents in Poplar Bluff, St. Charles, St. Louis, Farmington, Dexter, and Joplin. We also have affiliated agents based and working in Illinois as well.
